Royal Oud, is a beautiful fragrance, that to my nose, exudes a distinctly masculine aura. Its opening is a harmonious blend of citruses and spices that settles into a base of rich woods. However, the one place this fragrance falls a tiny bit short of is its name’s promise, as there is no real Oud component as one might expect. Instead, it leans towards a Western nose friendly synthetic interpretation of an Oud accord. Don’t get me wrong, the absence of authentic Oud doesn’t diminish the fragrance’s beauty. However, be warned that this isn’t the place to start if you’re wanting to try real Oud fragrances.

Smell is amazing. My only complaint is that the bottle that it comes in doesn’t look like the one on the picture. But the smell is phenomenal. For the last month I walk around and just smell myself.
