☀️ Shams Oud by Memo Paris is a blazing, solar oriental woody fragrance launched in 2011 as part of the Graines Vagabondes collection — its name meaning “sun” in Arabic. The supreme star is the glowing hearth of this fragrance: its woody, leather-scented incandescence, its blazing accents, and the golden warmth of oud that transports you to the land of Arabian Nights.

The opening ignites with a warm, spiced burst of sharp pepper 🌶️, golden saffron 🌾, and fiery ginger 🪴 — bold, aromatic, and immediately captivating. The heart deepens into a smoky, earthy core of dark cypriol (nagarmotha) 🌿 and smoky vetiver 🌾 — grounding, complex, and beautifully atmospheric. The dry-down anchors into a deep, commanding base of precious oud (agarwood) 🪵, resinous French labdanum 🫘, warm tolu balsam 🫘, smoky birch 🪵, dark styrax 🫘, and velvety tonka bean 🫘 — rich, long-lasting, and impossibly luxurious.
